What guests say
"It was wonderful — in and around the spacious, clean and beautiful house, in the surrounding area and at the lake. From the house we took a lovely walk to the waterfall. We also had a few delightful 'beach afternoons' at the lake. The house is full of information for great trips. But relaxing with a book, a glass of wine and a barbecue on the terrace was wonderful too. The week flew by far too quickly. We would go back in a heartbeat."
"A truly great house for a stay with friends. We were four adults with two 10-month-old babies and it worked perfectly! Great that we could use the two travel cots. We enjoyed drinks on the terrace in the spring sunshine, delicious pizzas from the village, beautiful mountain walks, fun trips to Brescia and elsewhere, and games by the fireplace in the evening. The kitchen is a huge plus: everything you need for proper cooking is there and it's a lovely space to sit together. We will definitely be back, because there is still so much to discover and do in the area! Especially if you love road cycling, there are plenty of beautiful routes."
"What a lovely house to spend a week in with our daughter (9 months)! The house has every comfort and has been beautifully and practically renovated by Tessa and Guus. While we enjoyed the wonderful view from the roof terrace, our daughter happily crawled around — very safe thanks to the good fencing. Everything has been thought of: there is even a parasol and a shade cloth, so you can sit outside comfortably at any time of day. During our holiday two befriended couples came to visit, and even with our group the villa was spacious enough, with plenty of seating for lovely evenings on the roof terrace. The villa's surroundings are beautiful and there is lots to do, especially with all the great tips from the book Tessa and Guus made especially for their guests."
"It felt right the moment we walked in. Everything has been thought of. We had a wonderful week. Breakfast on the terrace with birdsong in the background. If you want some buzz, you head down the mountain to Lake Iseo. In short: pure enjoyment."
"What a lovely, peaceful spot and what a fantastic view! We thoroughly enjoyed two weeks at Villa Zoadello with our kids (8 months and 3 years). Very handy that both a high chair and cots were already there for the kids. Just like the play corner on the (fenced) roof terrace! The rooms are also quiet and nice and dark, so our girls slept better than at home ;). If you're looking for tranquillity you'll be very happy here, yet the lively Lake Iseo is only a fifteen-minute drive away (you park right outside the house). The same goes for the lovely little restaurants in the hinterland, where you can go for a pranzo (lunch) every day — a top activity with kids if you ask us :). We often think back to the breakfasts, drinks and barbecues in the sun on the roof terrace. La dolce vita :)"
"We had a super week at 'Villa Zoadello' by Lake Iseo. What a lovely house — we were enthusiastic the moment we arrived: tastefully furnished, 3 beautiful bedrooms and two bathrooms, with a balcony with 2 loungers and a magnificent view. The house has every comfort, plus a large balcony, again with a beautiful view! We went on great day trips and ate wonderfully everywhere. The town of Iseo is 20 minutes down the mountain, with plenty to see and do. A few minutes' walk away is restaurant Zoadello — perfect for lunch and dinner, and… you can roll straight into bed afterwards! In short, a delightful place to spend a holiday."
"The villa has been beautifully renovated by Guus and Tessa. Throughout our holiday it felt like coming home. The villa has every comfort and is beautifully situated in the mountains. All kitchen equipment is provided, and bed linen and towels were taken care of (washed) as well. On arrival there was an extensive guide to the villa, the area and day trips. Communication with Guus and Tessa was excellent, and we could always reach them with questions or comments. There is plenty to do and visit in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Zoadello and the villa. It certainly won't be our last visit. We can wholeheartedly recommend the villa."
"We have stayed here several times now and it was a joy every single time. Such a beautiful house, the gorgeous interior, the spectacular view and above all the wonderful light at sunrise and sunset. Up here, at around 600 m altitude, you live in the real Italy: charmingly chaotic, friendly, hospitable, helpful, rich in local delights. Down by the gorgeous lake: everything beautifully kept, luxurious shops, delightful terraces. And then the mountains, which draw us in with their wealth of rock formations — full of surprises every time. And the rifugios: cakes and lunches, pure indulgence."
